Former NNPP Guber Candidate Resigns from Party in Jigawa

The former gubernatorial candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Jigawa State has officially announced his resignation from the party. The resignation is effective from March 30, 2026, as disclosed in a letter addressed to the NNPP chairman of Ringim Ward, Ringim Local Government Area, Jigawa State.

In his letter, he stated that the decision to resign followed careful reflection and consultation. He expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to serve as the gubernatorial candidate during the 2023 general elections and acknowledged the support, cooperation, and trust extended to him by the party leadership and members.

He emphasized the collective efforts made to advance the party's vision and wished the NNPP continued progress and success in its future endeavors.
