Chiamaka Nnake Becomes Anambra's First Female SSG

Chiamaka Nnake has been appointed as the first-ever female Secretary to the State Government (SSG) of Anambra, marking a significant milestone in the state's history. At 39 years old, Nnake hails from Njikoka Local Government Area.

The announcement was made on a Monday by Mr. Christian Aburime, the press secretary to Governor Prof.

Solo Chukwulobelu. Nnake has previously served in various leadership roles across several state institutions, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency, the Internal Revenue Service Board, and the Small Business Agency.

She has been a champion of state reforms aimed at easing business operations and has served as a focal point for social investment programs. Nnake is also the chairperson of the Human Capital Opportunities Prosperity Equities Hope Program in Nigeria and has worked as a senior strategic consultant at PwC, leading 30 client engagements across sectors such as financial services, government, and agriculture.

She holds a Master's in Business Administration with first-class honors and is a fellow member of ACCA.
