IPOB Declares Nnamdi Kanu's Suspension Null and Void

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has officially rejected the suspension of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, declaring the action null and void. The faction led by Chika Edoziem lacks legitimacy, according to IPOB's statement issued by spokesperson Emma Powerful.

The group maintains that Kanu's authority is supreme and that any decisions made by the Edoziem faction are invalid. IPOB argues that the previous administration was already dissolved, making any subsequent actions by Edoziem's faction unauthorized.

The statement emphasizes that Kanu's powers cannot be delegated or suspended without his consent. IPOB has criticized the actions of the Edoziem faction as reckless and a direct challenge to the group's leadership structure.

They have warned members against attempting to disrupt the organizational command structure, stating that such actions could lead to disciplinary measures, including suspension or expulsion. The group reaffirmed its loyalty to Kanu and urged media organizations to verify sources before reporting on developments related to IPOB.
