Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Sacks Polytechnic Council Chairman

On Saturday, Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State announced the dismissal of Buba Galadima from his role as Chairman of the Governing Council of Kano State Polytechnic. This decision was communicated by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Tofa.

The governor has appointed Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir as the new chairman, a move aligned with ongoing reforms aimed at improving the management and performance of the polytechnic. The tenure of the governing council, which lasts for three years, was set to expire amid these reforms.

Governor Yusuf expressed gratitude to Galadima for his services during his time in office and acknowledged his contributions to the institution.
