Kano Governor Appoints New Chairman for Polytechnic Council

Kano State Governor has relieved Buba Galadima of his position as Chairman of the Governing Council of Kano State Polytechnic. This decision was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin Tofa.

The statement revealed that the governor approved the appointment of Alhaji Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir as the new chairman of the institution's governing council.

Although Galadima's tenure was set for three years, his appointment was terminated as part of ongoing restructuring efforts aimed at reforming the institution's administration, which is a priority on the governor's agenda. Despite the removal, the governor expressed appreciation for Galadima's services.

The newly appointed chairman is expected to deploy his experience towards repositioning the institution.
