Katsina Governor Radda Holds Security Meeting After Attack

Following a violent attack by bandits in Sayaya Village, Matazu Local Government Area, Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Radda held an emergency security meeting at the Government House in Katsina on Monday. The meeting included heads of security agencies, local government representatives, and traditional and religious leaders.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday, resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including a policeman, and involved the ambush of a police station and the looting of multiple shops and a primary health care center. In response, Governor Radda visited Sayaya Village to assess the damage to facilities, including the health center and local businesses.
