Bandits Kill Officer, Loot Shops in Katsina Community

In a violent incident in Katsina, bandits launched an attack on a local police station, resulting in the death of an officer. The assailants also targeted a primary health care center and looted shops, carting away valuable items.

The attack caused widespread panic in the area, forcing residents to flee for safety. The gunmen operated for hours, taking the community by surprise.

In response to the violence, Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda visited the affected community to assess the situation and inspect the damage to facilities. He expressed condolences to the family of the deceased officer and extended sympathies to the affected residents.

The governor directed the immediate deployment of additional security personnel to the area to prevent further attacks and restore normalcy.
