Edo Abduction: Kidnappers Demand ₦15M Ransom for Passengers, Gloria Still Held

Kidnappers have demanded ₦15 million each for passengers abducted from a New Edo Line bus and a Toyota Camry in Edo State. The incident occurred on September 5, 2025, when gunmen intercepted the vehicles and took several passengers into the bush.

While the Edo State Police Command rescued 16 passengers, others, including Gloria Ikhaghu, remain captive. The kidnappers have contacted the family for ransom, making it challenging as they had just finished raising money for Gloria's father's burial.

The police are actively searching the forest for the remaining victims. The area has been notorious for kidnapping and armed attacks.
