Nigerian Police Rescue Abducted Edo Line Passengers

Sixteen out of the eighteen passengers abducted while traveling on an Abuja-bound Edo Line bus have been rescued by the Nigerian Police Force. The passengers were kidnapped by armed men but were successfully rescued following an intensified search and rescue operation in collaboration with local vigilante groups.

The incident, which occurred along the expressway, was captured in a viral video showing the victims being taken into the bush by the kidnappers. The Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Moses Iyamu, confirmed the successful rescue operation and ongoing efforts to secure the release of the remaining passengers still held by the kidnappers.
