Massive Fire Breaks Out After Multi-Vehicle Crash in Lagos

On Monday morning, a serious road accident occurred along Admiralty Road in Lagos, involving three vehicles that quickly escalated into a massive fire. The incident took place near the Admiralty roundabout, causing panic among motorists who fled the area.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority confirmed the situation, indicating that the fire produced heavy black smoke visible from a distance. Footage from the scene showed vehicles completely engulfed in flames.

Emergency responders arrived to battle the fire, which was eventually brought under control. No immediate confirmation of injuries or casualties was reported at the time of the incident.

Traffic movement in the area was heavily disrupted, prompting authorities to divert motorists to Road 14 and implement temporary counterflow arrangements to ease congestion. The Nigeria Police and fire service teams were mobilized to support rescue operations and secure the area while efforts to clear wreckage and restore normal traffic flow along the Lekki corridor continued.
