Gombe Assembly Complex Collapse: One Dead, Several Injured

On Friday, a tragic incident occurred when the Gombe Assembly complex collapsed, resulting in the death of one individual and trapping several workers beneath the rubble. Ummanah Ahm, the head of operations at the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Gombe, confirmed the incident and reported that three injured workers were taken to the federal teaching hospital for treatment, while five others were evacuated to the Gombe State Specialist Hospital.

The victims sustained severe injuries. Efforts to obtain a reaction from the construction company responsible for the project were unsuccessful.

As of now, the cause of the collapse has yet to be determined, and an investigation is ongoing to ascertain the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
