JUST IN: PDP Exposes Plot by Tinubu’s Minister, APC to Deploy Military Against Voters in Zamfara

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has exposed a plot by a federal minister aligned with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to deploy heavy military presence in Zamfara State during the upcoming election in Kaura Namoda South Constituency. The PDP's national publicity secretary, Debo Ologunagba, raised the alarm at a press conference, accusing the APC of colluding with security agencies to intimidate voters and subvert the will of the people.

The PDP cited previous instances of voter intimidation and ballot box snatching allegedly carried out by armed security personnel. The party warned that the APC's plan to deploy a full battalion of security forces to polling units was a deliberate attempt to instill fear, manipulate the outcome, and suppress voter turnout.

The PDP called on President Bola Tinubu to halt the alleged plot and urged Nigerians and the international community to hold the APC accountable for any breakdown of law and order.
