‘This Is A Recipe For Crisis’ – PDP Exposes Tinubu, APC’s ‘Plot’ To Muzzle Zamfara Constituency Bye-Election

The PDP has accused APC and Bola Tinubu of attempting to stifle the Zamfara Constituency Bye-Election. The PDP's National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, expressed concern over the conduct of the election in Kaura Namoda South State Constituency, Zamfara State.

The PDP claimed that reports indicated the election on August 16, 2025, was marred by intimidation and harassment of voters by APC-controlled security agencies. The PDP presented evidence of voter brutalization and ballot box theft by heavily armed security personnel allegedly acting on APC's orders.

The PDP warned that such actions could lead to a crisis and urged Nigerians and the international community to take note. The PDP called on Nigerians to hold APC accountable for any breakdown of law and order in Zamfara State.
