Tinubu Condemns Plateau Killings During Condolence Visit

President Bola Tinubu arrived in Jos, Plateau State, on a condolence visit following a deadly attack in the Angwan Rukuba district that left at least 27 people dead last Sunday. During his visit, he was received by the National Chairman of the Progressive Congress, Nentaw Yilwatda, and Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, along with other top government officials.

Tinubu condemned the attack, describing it as a "barbaric cowardly act" that would not go unpunished. He specifically denounced the violence in Kahir village, Kagarko Local Government Area, Kaduna State, where guests were killed and abducted.

Tinubu emphasized the need for security agencies to intensify their efforts in pursuing the perpetrators and cautioned the media against suggesting that the attacks were religiously motivated, warning that such narratives could escalate violence.
