Tinubu Condemns Killings in Jos and Kaduna Attacks

President Bola Tinubu strongly condemned the recent killings in Jos, specifically in the Angwan Rukuba district, and in Kahir village, located in the Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State. In a statement released on Tuesday by his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the attacks as barbaric and an affront to Nigeria's standards.

He expressed concern over the killing and abduction of individuals in these communities, labeling the perpetrators as heartless cowards targeting defenseless citizens. Tinubu assured Nigerians that these barbaric acts would not go unpunished and called for security agencies to intensify their efforts in pursuing the attackers.

He also urged the media to avoid spreading misinformation that could inflame tensions. Additionally, he commended the efforts of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State in managing the situation and supporting the victims' families.
