Soludo Submits 18 Commissioner-Nominees for Screening

On Tuesday, Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State presented the first batch of 18 commissioner-nominees to the Anambra State House of Assembly for screening. The list was received by the Speaker, Somtochukwu Udez, during a plenary session and was referred to the relevant committee for screening in line with legislative procedures.

The nominees include Ben Odoemena for Agriculture, Chukwukadibia Okoy for Budget and Economic Planning, Udoji Amedu for Culture, Entertainment, and Tourism, Eken Ogugua for Education, Clem Aguiyi for Environment, Izuchukwu M. Okafor for Finance, Afam Obidik for Health, Law Mefor for Information and Value Reform, Tobechukwu Nweke for Justice, Ofornz Amucheazi for Land, Vin Ezeaka for Local Government and Community Affairs, Charl Ofoegbu for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Chijiok Oseloka Ojukwu for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Casmir Agummadu for Power, Okei Ezeobi for Works and Infrastructure, Eddi Ibuzo for Transport, Esther Onyekesi for Women Affairs and Social Development, and Patrick Agha for Youth Development and Sports.

Notably, Afam Obidik and Patrick Agha retained their previous portfolios from the governor's first term.
