Teenager Killed in Borno IED Blast by Boko Haram/ISWAP - Police Confirm Death

A teenager was killed in an IED blast in Borno State, Nigeria, suspected to be planted by Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists. The incident occurred in Monguno Local Government Area, where the boy was returning from the farm with his father when he stepped on the device.

The police confirmed the death and mentioned the involvement of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) in rendering the area safe. The victim was evacuated to General Hospital Monguno but later succumbed to his injuries.

The body was released for burial according to Islamic rites. Security forces are actively working to prevent further incidents in the region.
