Terrorists Raid Niger Community, Burn Church and Police Station in Agwara Town

In a recent incident in Niger State, terrorists attacked Agwara town, burning down the African Missionary Church (UMCA) and a police station. The attackers kidnapped several villagers and looted food supplies.

Eyewitnesses reported that the terrorists arrived around 2 am, set fire to the police station, and then targeted the church. Fortunately, no fatalities were reported, but residents fled to safety.

Reverend Yakubu Yohanna confirmed the incident and mentioned that people had to hide to escape the attackers. This attack comes after the abduction of 230 teachers and students in Papiri town last year.

Security forces are working to ensure the safety of the affected communities.
