Tinubu Hosts Iftar Dinner for Governors at Aso Rock

On Monday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosted an Iftar dinner for state governors at Aso Rock, Abuja, continuing a Ramadan tradition for the third consecutive year. The event commenced at 7:00 PM and included governors such as Hope Uzodinma of Imo, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, and Babagana Zulum of Borno, among others.

Vice President Kashim Shettima and several cabinet members were also present. During the dinner, President Tinubu stressed the importance of unity among political leaders and the need for selfless service to prioritize the welfare of Nigerians.

He urged governors and ministers to focus on governance and set aside political differences, emphasizing that Nigeria should be viewed as one big family regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds. The dinner is part of a broader tradition where past presidents have hosted similar gatherings to foster unity and collaboration among national leaders during Ramadan.
