The Obaro of Kabba, Oba Dele Owoniyi, has called on all indigenes of Kabba, including those in the diaspora, to return for Kabba Day 2026, organized by the Kabba Development Union (KDU). The theme for this year, “Consolidating Peace and Strategically Mobilising Resources for Sustainable Development in Kabba,” emphasizes the importance of community unity for development.
Oba Owoniyi stated, “Our strength has always been our unity,” and invited every son and daughter of Kabba to participate. The festivities will commence with a gala night on November 6, followed by a grand finale on November 7 at the Kabba Township Stadium.
The event will showcase cultural displays, masquerades, traditional drumming, and dance. A significant highlight will be the launch of the Kabba Development Fund, aiming to raise N500 million for critical community projects.
