166 Victims Still in Captivity a Week After Kaduna Abduction

In Kaduna, 166 individuals, including women and children, are still held captive a week after being abducted during church services in Kurmin Wali and Barau Dikko communities. The victims' whereabouts remain unknown, causing distress among their families and communities.

The Kaduna State Government is providing medical treatment to the injured, with some victims taken to Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital. Security agencies are urged to intensify efforts to ensure the prompt rescue of the captives.

Governor Uba Sani has reassured residents of collaboration between the state government and security agencies to secure the victims' release. Reverend Joseph John Hayab commended the security agencies' efforts and called for a swift rescue operation.
