Kaduna First Lady Supports Renewed Hope Initiative's Impact

Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani, the First Lady of Kaduna State, pledged the state's continued partnership with the federal government's Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) during its third anniversary event held in Abuja. She described the program as a complement to Governor Uba Sani's welfare agenda for Kaduna citizens.

The initiative has reportedly reached 27,000 residents in the Federal Capital Territory alone, with 15 major programs built around five strategic pillars. The anniversary revealed that RHI interventions have benefited 27,345 residents, including 4,427 people supported through economic empowerment, 3,307 children reached, and 4,866 beneficiaries served through food security and agricultural programs.

Additionally, 970 persons with disabilities and 550 elderly citizens received assistance. The initiative aims to support 15 million vulnerable households nationwide, with a target of 9.2 million beneficiaries through cash transfer programs.

Hajiya Hafsat commended Senator Oluremi Tinubu's leadership and emphasized the importance of nurturing young women to pursue their dreams.
