Kaduna Group Denies Rescue of 31 Abducted Worshippers

The Kudurmi United Development Association, represented by its President Joseph David and Public Secretary Manasseh Samuel, has denied reports claiming the rescue of 31 worshippers abducted during an Easter service in the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna. The association labeled these claims as false and misleading, asserting that the abducted individuals are still in captivity.

They highlighted that families of the victims have confirmed the ongoing captivity of their loved ones, contradicting the reports of a successful rescue operation. The association expressed concern over the circulation of inaccurate information, which they believe creates confusion and false hope for the families involved, ultimately eroding public trust in official communications.

They urged the Nigerian Army and relevant authorities to ensure that verified information is released to the public and emphasized the need for intensified efforts to secure the unconditional release of the abducted individuals.
