Nigerian Army Rescues 31 Worshippers in Kaduna Attack

On Easter Sunday, soldiers from the Nigerian Army rescued 31 worshippers who had been abducted during a church service at ECWA Church in Ariko Village, Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State. The rescue operation was initiated following a distress call reporting that terrorists had invaded the church.

Upon receiving this information, the troops swiftly mobilized to the scene and engaged the terrorists in a fierce firefight, leveraging their superior firepower. The operation successfully led to the rescue of the hostages, although five victims were reported killed by the terrorists at the scene.

The rescued individuals are currently receiving medical attention. The Nigerian Army has intensified its pursuit of the fleeing terrorists and has deployed additional troops to enhance security in the area, reaffirming its commitment to protecting citizens and ensuring national security.
