Uba Sani Leads Kaduna State to Major Achievements

Since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Governor Uba Sani has led Kaduna State to significant achievements, ranking third in the 2025 Phillip Consult State Performance Index. This ranking reflects advancements in fiscal management, economic development, infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and social inclusion.

Sani's leadership style emphasizes dialogue and inclusivity, contrasting with previous administrations that faced insecurity and social fragmentation. His security strategy has resulted in a notable reduction in violent crime rates, restoring public confidence.

The administration has also demonstrated fiscal discipline, managing a ₦90 billion inherited debt without incurring new loans. Kaduna State has emerged as a leader in internal revenue generation, with projections of ₦62.48 billion in 2023, ₦71 billion in 2024, and nearly ₦90 billion by 2026.

The state has been recognized for its transparency, ranking as Nigeria's most transparent state for two consecutive years according to the Transparency Integrity Index released by the MacArthur Foundation.
