Kaduna State Achieves High Ranking in Performance Index

Kaduna State has been ranked third among Nigeria's 36 states in the 2025 Phillip Consult State Performance Index (PSPI), receiving a four-star rating. This ranking highlights significant achievements under the leadership of Governor Uba Sani, who assumed office in May 2023.

His administration has prioritized transparency, security, and community engagement to restore public trust and improve governance. Despite inheriting multiple challenges, including security concerns and social tensions, Governor Sani adopted a dialogue-driven approach, collaborating with traditional rulers, religious leaders, and civil society to foster cooperation.

This strategy has led to a gradual reduction in tension and an increase in public confidence in government institutions. The administration has also focused on improving security in vulnerable areas, resulting in a resurgence of economic activities, with farmers returning to their lands and businesses expanding operations.

Additionally, Kaduna State has emerged as a model for economic development, achieving the highest score in the country for fiscal transparency and public integrity.
