Uba Sani's Road Project Transforms Travel in Lere

The 17km road project executed by Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has drastically reduced travel time in Lere, alleviating previous transport challenges for residents. Alhaji Jafaru Ahm, the chairman of Lere Local Government Area, noted that motorists previously spent two hours navigating a two-kilometer stretch of poor road conditions.

The ongoing construction has improved movement and access to services in the area. Alhaji Abubakar Buba, during an inspection, reported that the road project is 85% complete and is the first asphalt road of its length in the Lere Local Government.

The Uba Sani administration is currently executing 150 road projects covering approximately 1,355 kilometers across 23 local government areas in Kaduna State. Additionally, the government is also constructing a two-storey secondary school and a hospital in Kaku Kasa, demonstrating a commitment to improving education and healthcare access in rural areas.
