Kaduna Women and Youths Empowered Through Vocational Training

In Igabi Local Government Area, Kaduna State, over 1,200 women and youths graduated from a three-month vocational training program supported by the Tinubu Uba Sani Mobilis Network. The initiative, aligned with President Bola Tinubu's Renew Hope agenda, aims to empower participants with practical skills and financial assistance to establish and expand small businesses.

Former sole administrator of Igabi Local Government Area, Jafar Murtala Sabo, highlighted ongoing federal government infrastructure projects, including the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano highway and the Kaduna light rail project, which are expected to stimulate economic growth and create job opportunities. Hajiya Falmata Abacha, Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Social Investment Programs, noted that the initiative complements federal efforts to reduce poverty and promote financial inclusion.

Beneficiary Hadiza Muhammad expressed gratitude for the life-changing training, which equipped her with skills in catering, computer operation, and painting, enabling her to contribute positively to her community.
