Kaduna Youth Demand Justice in Mary Habila's Death

The youth wing of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has called for a thorough and transparent investigation into the death of Mary Habila. In a statement signed by the national youth leader, Ambassador Solomon Simon, the group expressed sadness over Habila's passing, describing it as a tragedy that has left her family and the Southern Kaduna community seeking answers.

The youth wing extended condolences to Habila's family and emphasized the need for justice, stating that every Nigerian's life is sacred and deserving of justice. The statement referenced conflicting accounts surrounding the circumstances of Habila's death, including comments from Minister of Works, David Umahi.

The group urged the Nigeria Police Force and the Ebonyi State Police Command to ensure that the investigation is conducted impartially, without fear or favor, and called for adherence to legal investigative procedures.
