Kalu Gains Support for 2027 Election in Bende Constituency

Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, has initiated his "MeetMyConstituentsConsultations" across Bende Federal Constituency in Abia State, engaging with the electorate in various community settings.

This initiative is aimed at fostering direct conversations with constituents, including traditional rulers, clergy, community leaders, and youth. As he concludes these consultations, Kalu has received significant endorsements, particularly from the Bende South State Constituency Traditional Rulers Council, led by Eze Uchendu Okorie.

The council expressed strong support for Kalu's bid for a third term in 2027, emphasizing that performance should take precedence over any zoning arrangements. Eze Okorie praised Kalu's representation and developmental efforts in the constituency, urging him to remain focused.

Another traditional ruler, Eze P.C. Onyegbu, also challenged the zoning narrative, reinforcing the call for Kalu to continue his political journey based on trust built through performance.
