Harry Kane and Charlyn Corral Named Best Strikers at Ballon d'Or

At the Ballon d'Or ceremony, England captain Harry Kane and Mexico international Charlyn Corral were honored as the Best Strikers of the Year. Kane, who currently plays for German champions Bayern Munich, received the men's award after scoring 73 goals, the highest tally among the contenders.

The award was determined by the number of goals scored rather than a voting process. Reflecting on his achievement, Kane described the previous season as the best of his career, stating, "It was an incredible year for me last year, it was the best season of my career without a doubt." He expressed pride in his goal tally, attributing his success to his teammates and family.

Charlyn Corral, representing Mexican club CF Pachuca, also received recognition at the event. The awards were presented by former England striker Alan Shearer and actress Sophie Turner.
