CITAD Boosts Nomadic Education with Uniform Donation in Kano

On Thursday, CITAD (Centre for Information Technology and Development) donated school uniforms and writing materials to the nomadic primary school located in Bakin Kamanda, Dansoshiya Community, Kiru Local Government Area, Kano. The Executive Director of CITAD, Yunusa Zakari, stated that the donation aims to enhance education among the Fulani people in the state.

He emphasized that providing uniforms and learning materials would encourage Fulani children to attend school and assist parents in their educational responsibilities. Zakari urged the community to prioritize education, combining both Islamic and Western teachings to improve living standards.

Ghali Sule, the Kano State Chairman of the State Universal Education Board and Deputy Director of the Nomadic Education Department, expressed gratitude for CITAD's efforts in promoting inclusive education for Fulani families. The district head of Kiru, Dan Majen Kano, and village head Dangora, Yusuf Harisu, also urged parents to ensure their children attend school rather than engage in daily business activities.

Malam Nasiru Ibrahim Dangora, the head teacher, thanked CITAD for its support in educational development.
