Kano Commissioner Amina Sani Defects from NNPP to Join Governor Yusuf in APC

Kano Commissioner for Women Affairs and Special Duties, Hajiya Amina Sani, has left the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) to join Governor Yusuf in the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Waiya, confirmed Amina Sani's defection on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
