Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Mourns Alhaji Shehu Yahaya

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf mourned the death of elder statesman Alhaji Shehu Yahaya, calling it a profound loss for both Kano State and the nation. In a condolence message issued by his spokesperson, Sunusi Tofa, Yusuf highlighted Yahaya's successful career as a businessman and his life marked by honesty and integrity.

Throughout his lifetime, Yahaya was dedicated to the development of the Dakata Kawaji community in the Nasarawa Local Government Area and was known for promoting peace. Governor Yusuf noted that Yahaya's legacy of selfless service and exemplary leadership would endure.

He expressed that the loss is felt not only by Yahaya's family but by all the people of Kano State, who regarded him as a father and a patriot. The governor prayed for Allah to forgive Yahaya's shortcomings and grant him eternal peace, while also offering strength to his family and the people of Kano State to bear this irreparable loss.

Yahaya is survived by children, including Muhammad Shehu, a senior manager at Gerawa Group.
