Kano Governor Approves New Appointments and Promotions to Strengthen State Governance

Kano State Governor has authorized a new round of appointments and promotions in various government institutions to enhance public service efficiency. Notable appointments include Abubakar Matawal as the Acting Director-General of the Kano State Pilgrim Welfare Board, replacing a retired senior civil servant.

Rahama Alhaji has been appointed as the Provost of the Kano State Anti-Corruption Institute, recognized for her legal expertise and experience. Aina U, a veteran Kannywood actress, has been promoted to a Special Assistant for Kannywood Affairs.

Governor Yusuf emphasized the need for the newly appointed officials to uphold hard work, transparency, and loyalty to the state. The appointments are effective immediately, with Abdulkadir Kankarofi appointed as a Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs in the Governor's Office.
