ADC Candidate Predicts Defeat for Kano Governor in 2027

Alhaji Ibrahim Alamin Little, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Kano State, has warned Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to prepare for defeat in the 2027 governorship election. During a press briefing in Kano, Little announced Abdulkadir Shehu Bari from Rogo Local Government Area as his running mate.

He accused the Yusuf administration of "window dressing" in project execution and stated that the electorate would vote the incumbent government out due to rising concerns over drug abuse, education, healthcare, and agriculture. Little highlighted the increasing youth involvement in drug abuse as a significant challenge and criticized the government's inadequate attention to education and healthcare.

He pledged that if elected, his administration would prioritize education, healthcare, youth development, and women's empowerment, as well as tackle drug abuse and introduce social welfare programs for vulnerable groups. Little promised a comprehensive governance overhaul to ensure equal opportunities for all citizens and promote innovation and entrepreneurship to transform Kano's economy.
