Gov Yusuf Endorses Garo as Running Mate for 2027 Election

On a strategic meeting held in Abuja, Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf announced the endorsement of Deputy Governor Murtala Sule Garo as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election. The announcement was made during a meeting with political appointees and was communicated through a statement issued by the Director General of Media and Publicity at the Kano State Government House, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa.

Governor Yusuf praised Garo's loyalty, commitment, and contributions to the development of Kano State since assuming office as Deputy Governor. He expressed no regrets in choosing Garo, stating that the decision has proven to be the right choice.

The governor urged party leaders and political appointees to remain united and committed to the administration's agenda as they prepare for the upcoming general elections in 2027.
