Kano Health Board Enhances Healthcare Services in State

The Kano Health Board has initiated a deployment of teams to enhance healthcare services in Kano State, as part of a reform agenda aligned with Governor Abba Yusuf's vision. The teams, supervised by Samira Suleiman and chaired by Dr.

Mansur Mudi Nagoda, the Executive Secretary, will conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of hospitals under the board's jurisdiction. Their mandate includes assessing healthcare service delivery, identifying operational challenges, and recommending practical solutions to improve patient care satisfaction.

The team comprises various directors, including those from administrative services, pharmaceutical services, and nursing services, as well as representatives from the Nigerian Medical Association and other healthcare organizations. They will also enforce compliance with established clinical standards and track the implementation of previous recommendations.

Dr. Nagoda emphasized the importance of effective supervision in achieving excellence in healthcare delivery, reaffirming the board's commitment to supporting the governor's vision for a resilient and efficient healthcare system.
