Kano Hisbah arrests 62 for ‘immoral acts’

The Kano Hisbah has arrested 62 individuals for engaging in immoral acts, according to Deputy Commandant Board Mujahid Aminudeen. The arrests, which included 27 males and 35 females, were made during a joint operation with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency at a training center called NITT Dawakin Kudu.

Aminudeen emphasized the importance of the public reporting such activities to ensure the enforcement of Sharia law in the state. The Hisbah also conducted a similar operation at Tamburawa Bridge, where more individuals were apprehended for similar offenses.

Aminudeen stated that the suspects would be charged in court once the investigation is concluded. The board urged the public to continue reporting any violations of Sharia law.
