Kano manufacturers seek direct power supply from NDPHC

Manufacturers in Kano are seeking direct power supply from the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) to boost industrial growth in the state. The Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) Kano Branch made the appeal during a visit by a delegation led by the Managing Director of Dala Foods, Alhaji Ali Madugu.

The MAN Kano group emphasized the need for a sustainable power supply to address the severe power challenges affecting local manufacturing activities. In response, the Managing Director of NDPHC, Egnr Jennifer Adighije, expressed the company's willingness to partner with MAN Kano to drive industrial growth, create jobs, and enhance development in the country.

The NDPHC executives also provided a detailed roadmap for MAN Kano to take advantage of the power supply opportunity. The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing optimism about a mutually beneficial partnership to unlock the industrial potential of Kano.
