Kano NDC Candidate Mourns Veteran Broadcaster Getso

Aminu Gwarzo, the governorship candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress in Kano State, mourned the passing of veteran broadcaster Alhaji Adamu Getso, who died in his hometown on a Saturday. Getso served as the managing director of Radio Kano during the second term administration of former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Gwarzo issued a condolence message through his spokesperson, Ibrahim Shuaibu, describing Getso as a significant figure in the media profession whose immense contributions to public communication and community development in Kano State will be remembered. Gwarzo acknowledged that Getso dedicated a significant part of his life to serving the state’s media industry and left behind a legacy of integrity and commitment to public service.

He expressed that Getso's death is a great loss not only to his family but also to the media community in Kano State. Gwarzo extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and the people of Getso's town, praying for Allah to forgive Getso's shortcomings and grant him eternal peace.
