Osun APC and NLC Clash Over Industrial Crisis - Allegations of Neglect and Fabricated Threats

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) engaged in a war of words over the prolonged industrial crisis involving the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE). The APC accused the NLC State Chairman, Christopher Arapasopo, of fabricating threats to Governor Ademola Adeleke's administration and neglecting the welfare of local government workers.

In response, Arapasopo denied the allegations and accused the APC of causing hardship for council workers. The APC insisted that Arapasopo address the pressing issues faced by workers, including unpaid pensions and cooperative funds, to avoid further strikes.
