Kano Governor Yusuf Advocates for Enhanced Road Projects

During the commissioning of Section III of the Abuja–Kaduna–Zaria–Kano Expressway, Governor Yusuf of Kano represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He appealed for increased federal road projects and advocated for the use of concrete pavement technology to ensure durable infrastructure.

Governor Yusuf stressed the importance of expanding and improving road networks to meet the transportation needs of Kano and support its growing commercial activities. He also highlighted the necessity of developing major bypasses and other strategic roads to enhance traffic flow and connectivity within the state.

The governor stated that improved road infrastructure would facilitate the movement of goods and passengers, reduce congestion on busy routes, and bolster economic activities in Kano.
