Kanti Bello's Political Legacy Unmatched in Katsina

Loyalists of the late Senator Mahmud Kanti Bello have declared that his political structure in Katsina is unmatched, highlighting his extensive grassroots connections built over his lifetime. Bello represented the Daura senatorial zone from 2003 to 2011 and served as the pioneer managing director of Katsina Steel Rolling Mill.

During a gathering in Abuja on August 17, 2023, they described him as a unifying force whose political network transcended party lines and ethnic groups. Aminu Ashiru noted that Bello's leadership style focused on mentorship and sustained engagement across all 34 local government areas in the state.

Despite the late senator's passing, his core values of integrity and loyalty continue to resonate among his followers. In response, Murtala Kankia of the APC dismissed claims of a diminished political structure, asserting that the party remains deeply rooted in the state.

Mustapha Bello, the late senator's son, is working to revive his father's political network and legacy, emphasizing the importance of unity and support for the APC in upcoming elections.
