Kasi Cloud Launches Largest AI-Ready Data Center in Lagos

Kasi Cloud will launch its LOS1 data center in Lagos, which is touted as the largest data center in West Africa, specifically designed to support the AI era. The facility will be constructed on a 4.2-hectare land along the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway.

Johnson Agogbua, the founder and CEO of Kasi Cloud, announced that the LOS1 data center will integrate leading global and local partners to create a hyperscale cloud platform. This initiative aims to enhance Nigeria's digital transformation and position it as a leader in artificial intelligence readiness.

The data center will consist of four floors with a total of eight data halls, featuring 400 racks in the main data hall and 160 racks in a high-density AI hall. The total power capacity of the facility will be 100 megawatts, with eight megawatts dedicated per floor, amounting to 32 megawatts across all four floors.

The design includes four diverse fiber routes and a dual mechanical and electrical system to support AI workloads.
