Kebbi Community Celebrates Ramadan Palliatives Distribution

The Kebbi community expressed gratitude towards Governor Dr. Nasir Idris for his distribution of Ramadan palliatives, which included 6,500 tons of assorted grains aimed at alleviating hardships faced by families during the fasting month.

The initiative, complemented by Hon. Shafiu Dan Malam Zauro, the governor's special adviser on special duties, provided food items to 1,500 beneficiaries, including 1,500 bags of 50kg rice and 1,500 cartons of spaghetti.

Community leader Alhaji Usman Magatakarda commended the governor for this large-scale humanitarian intervention, noting its significant impact on families during Ramadan. Additionally, Alhaji Abba Shehu, the APC Zauro Ward Secretary, appreciated the ongoing support from the special adviser, recalling previous donations of 20 motorcycles to assist residents.

The distribution event emphasized the importance of community unity and support for the governor's administration, which aims to sustain development through various empowerment initiatives.
