Kebbi Governor Idris Launches Ramadan Palliatives and Support

Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris has initiated a significant rollout of agricultural support and Ramadan palliatives aimed at enhancing food production and grassroots welfare. The program includes the distribution of 2,000 solar-powered irrigation pumps, 5,000 power tillers, 6,000 sprayers, 24,000 liters of herbicide, and 70,000 liters of organic fertilizer, alongside 5,000 truckloads of assorted fertilizers.

This initiative targets one million beneficiaries across the state. Governor Idris personally flagged off the food distribution initiative, emphasizing the administration's commitment to ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach vulnerable populations.

The current intervention represents a 40% increase compared to previous welfare efforts. Additionally, the governor has procured and distributed 13,000 units of furniture for primary and secondary schools to improve learning conditions.

The Kebbi State APC Congress also emerged from a transparent process under Idris's leadership, highlighting his efforts to foster unity within the party.
