Kebbi State Distributes 12,779 School Furniture Pieces

On Tuesday, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State officially launched the distribution of 12,779 pieces of classroom furniture to improve the learning environment in schools. The ceremony took place at the Emir Haruna Rashe College in Birnin Kebbi.

Governor Idris emphasized that the procurement of this furniture aligns with the administration's policy to enhance the quality of education, which he considers a matter of urgency. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to improve educational infrastructure, which includes constructing new classrooms and equipping them with necessary furniture.

Additionally, a special welfare package for teachers was introduced, which encompasses loans for cars and motorcycles, as well as a housing program aimed at benefiting teachers. Governor Idris reiterated the commitment to addressing the challenges faced by teachers and improving their welfare.
