Jigawa Pilgrims Receive Hajj Uniforms and Bags for 2026

The Jigawa State Pilgrim Welfare Board has begun distributing Hajj uniforms and luggage bags to approximately 1,000 intending pilgrims for the 2026 Hajj. This distribution was flagged off on Thursday at the board's headquarters in Dutsinma, with Umar Labbo, the Director General of the board, overseeing the ceremony.

The distribution of these items is a significant step in the preparations for the pilgrimage. Male pilgrims will receive a 12-yard fabric uniform and two luggage bags, while female pilgrims will receive a wrapper, a three-half yard hijab, and two luggage bags.

Labbo emphasized the importance of pilgrims being familiar with the rules and regulations governing the Hajj exercise and urged them to collect their uniforms and luggage bags as part of their journey preparations. The board aims to provide a comfortable and hassle-free experience for the pilgrims, ensuring adherence to guidelines set by the Saudi authorities.
