Kebbi State to Build NOUN Permanent Site in Birnin Kebbi

Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris announced the construction of a permanent site for the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in Birnin Kebbi. This announcement was made during the 15th convocation ceremony held simultaneously across the nation, where a total of 24,575 students graduated.

Governor Idris emphasized the significance of this development as a milestone in the academic journey of the Kebbi center, which serves as a citadel of knowledge providing high-quality education to students. He urged the people of Kebbi to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the university for further education, highlighting that educational growth and development remain top priorities for his administration.

Additionally, the governor assured that the commission announced a donation of N1 million. The event was also attended by Kebbi Deputy Governor Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida and the Director of the Kebbi center, Professor Ibrahim Musa.
